Imelda

Age: 7 years
Gender: Female
Breed: Chow Chow/Mix
Color: Black
Spayed/Neutered: Yes
Special Needs: No

My name, "Imelda", means "entire battle". In 14th c Spain Imelda was honored as a saint, and her name given the meaning "powerful fighter" [against evil]. I like to think of myself as living out the entire battle of life with all my might, to always stay focussed on helping others to be all they can, and never give up! That's how I see my mission, especially now, as a senior!

I'm a calm, gentle, attentive lady, confident with people and other dogs, and easy to handle. Please invite me into your beautiful home forever, and together let's "fight the good fight" of life! I'm full of loving energy to give you, my dear family!

Please note:
The animals pictured here were available for adoption at the time of this posting. The animals we have at the Benicia Vallejo Humane Society change daily and we cannot guarantee the availability of animals pictured; however, we always have a great selection of companion pets, so come visit us in person to find the perfect one for you!
