"They call me beautiful Bonzo because my inner beauty shines through!" My namesake was a cute dog character created in 1920 by the artist George Studdy. Physically Bonzo was a pudgy little dog with a crinkly face and big feet. He quickly became a symbol for goodness in anyone: never conceited, wicked, spitefully unkind, violent, or in any way offensive. In short, he was a totally sweet, innocent young dog.
I think I'm like my namesake, because while I may have the features of a clumsy, pudgy puppy boy, I have the same innocence and inner beauty of character, and I would like to share all my good qualities with you, my dear forever family, as I play and grow in your midst!
