HARLEY NEEDS A HOME! Adoption Pending!

Age: 3 months
Gender: Female
Breed: Labrador Retriever/Mix
Color: Black
Spayed/Neutered: Yes
Special Needs: Yes

Harley came to us as a stray, and we evaluated her for adoption as a quiet, sweet, affectionate, happy puppy girl, confident with people and other dogs, calm and gentle and attentive. Suddenly her promising new life became threatened by serious illness: she contracted Parvo.

Currently Harley is a patient at All Creatures in Vallejo, CA, where she is undergoing treatment for Parvo. She is alert and progressing in her treatment. The dedicated and caring staff of All Creatures are tending to her needs and recovery at this time. She is still available for adoption. She would need to be in a household with older dogs currently vaccinated and no young puppies. She will need to be isolated from dog parks and places other dogs go for 6 months to a year after completing treatment. For more information and updates on her status, or information on how you can adopt her, please email pwilson@bvhumane.org.

Please note:
The animals pictured here were available for adoption at the time of this posting. The animals we have at the Benicia Vallejo Humane Society change daily and we cannot guarantee the availability of animals pictured; however, we always have a great selection of companion pets, so come visit us in person to find the perfect one for you!
