The 500 club of the Benicia Vallejo Humane Society began in October of 2003.

‘We started the 500 Club as a first step to make a difference in the number of stray and unwanted animals in our community.” Says Peter Wilson, Director of Humane Services for the Benicia Vallejo Humane Society.   Our goal is to have 500 donors each year donate a minimum of $100 dollars to the club.   Those who need assistance with Spay/Neuter of their animals are able to purchase a voucher to at low cost to spay/neuter or in some cases there is no cost to the pet guardian.
